Forum: texts Subject: Re: The new archive.org site

As predicted over 1 year ago this 'library' is starting to remove its vertical files because no one uses those anymore. Then one day the microfilm stacks will be in the way. Then at last all the unnecessary paper books will make room for the CD's and then DVD's. Then someday someone will need the no longer existent vertical files. For a entity that does not create their own content, they do decide what is important.

The process to convert the files to DJVU is still in the Internet Archive. Perhaps if you send an email to info@archive.org they will make the conversion routine available to users to convert their works.
It is sad sign when the worst troll remark possible is that someone use email process that is supposed to be a help.
